Authentically You - Genuine and Sure

In the quiet of a morning, as I awoke, the day was dark and cloudy, nonetheless it was not a dismal moment, but one of gratitude and thanks.  As I moved through my morning routine there seemed to be a sense that my day had something to awaken me to.  A story was on my mind and it needed to be shared.  As I pondered, struggled, thought and grappled with many thoughts, I realized that periodically I needed to speak about where I am at.

My heart could feel the call to action and that is very powerful, something one ought not ignore.  It is very much like the call of the wild.  We are truly domesticated in our daily routines and rituals. Practically bound to them.  Some are oddities that we cannot explain away and yet are necessary for us to get through our day.  My call of the wild is of a different nature.

What that nature is, in simple terms boils down to the call to be true to yourself, your principles and how you lean into life. The conversation I engaged in with myself today, was about how can I be true to myself, my authentic self.  Firstly, we have understand what organically and authentically means to us.  How do we define that?

Often as we choose our paths, one of the greatest challenges is to disrupt our subconscious scripts as we truly walk into who we really are. We each at the core of our souls have the tool to manifest our true authentic selves. Answering the questions is the beginning of creating, by your choosing a genuine you without dispute. Picking apart the very definition a truth is found. Genuinely without dispute - we everyday stand in dispute to ourselves the very nature of who we are by believing and confirming the negative.

Breaking the cycle means to grow a sense of well-being, self worth and confidence.  Patterns of positive loving thinking that elevate what is already inside of us. Affirming and deepening our selves into who we are given to become. The joy of instilling loving energy, that fills our lives with positive truths.  The only one we need to measure up to is ourselves, we set the limits and successes.  Replacing, removing negative energy with loving and celebrating who we are.  The warmth of such speak transforms the negative with positive loving healing.

That is the gift we need to celebrate with ourselves daily.  That our call and how we have grown ourselves different and apart from anyone else.  A gift that transcends anything we can possibly achieve monetarily. I found a greater truth and sent a wave of appreciation and love for the opportunity to grow into myself.  A self that is enough, measures with love, kindness and positive grace.  I choose and embrace myself, who is a unique expression of me with no other copy or rendition quite like it now or ever.  Be true to you, genuine and sure.

There is a trend on certain social media platforms, where such language is thrown around, mentioned on daily basis. The root word AUTHENTIC at its meaning leans into being genuine without dispute/confident. To decipher or re-code this meaning - think of the following questions. Who are you at the core of your beliefs? What is your drive to thrive? How do you think about and see yourself as it relates to your upbringing. Are you making choices that support those beliefs and principles that you live by or govern yourself? Do you and are you marching to someone else's drum? Is integrity to follow your truth at the foundation of who you are now?

Confirming the negative seems to be a socialized easy button rather than staying true to ourselves.  Certainly our upbringing in part contributes to our life story boards  as well as life experiences.  However, I have to question,  why do we insist on believing those stories we tell ourselves. Is it because we were told by someone we trust, or did we choose to not disrupt the status quo?  This is your call to action, your call to the wild as it were.  The wild of you, all of you.  It is time to get back to being genuine without dispute.

Positive loving healing installs a sense of gratitude even when the greatest of challenges are faced.  Certainly there are moments we are not grateful and that is also a truth we should live through with strength and courage.  Capturing gratitude everyday can be accomplished by recording either in video or writing what you find gratitude in.  By doing so, when we have a moment where we cannot grace our souls with gratitude, we can look back and see our thoughts.  Thoughts that will instantaneously disrupt the negative.  Negative emotions cannot dwell in the presence of love, kindness, forgiveness, grace and gratitude.  It is near impossible.

What is possible is knowing who you are, what drives you and what makes you tick.  On the path of being true to self, we have to know ourselves.  One cannot be true to themselves without first answering those questions and getting to the heart of the matter.  Getting to the core precipitates understanding that in every cell of your being, to the core of your soul, you have the power to rise above.  Rise above the opinions of those around you,  your past that does not define you, and the approval of others is not yours to keep.  Remember with every step that you take, to love and accept who you are and where you stand right now just as you are.  You choose today, now to express yourself, who you are fully.  Life is an opportunity to become, a great expression of yourself, hewn in the fires of adversity that is lovely crafted into an amazing you; an authentic you.

Unsung Extraordinary Hero - A Journey to Fulfilling a Calling to Be a Voice

In the wake of current life situations with COVID-19 Pandemic the word HERO only synonymous with comic books has become a household word. We are in a time and place where we desperately need the visibility and creation of heros, heroines, people who are heroic.  From a college course book in one of my business classes, the definition in this time and space is certainly appropriate. In the introduction, Jeff Sanderfer said, " heroic people - people who shape events, who act rather than watch, who are creative and brave."(1.) This is a moment to ask yourself the hard questions that often we ignore or pass over.  What is the journey or path to becoming a #HERO.  Is it at the root of what we have done most of our life, or did we receive an experience due to external influences or was there a singular internal event that changes our lives.   Perhaps it is best described as a calling or as I read recently a VOCATION, which in latin VOCARE means "to call." Did you come to
